Blogs Are Strange

Blogs are strange things. We read them because we want respite from the contrite from of entertainment the media feeds us, piled high with stereotyped diversities (SAP-single-sex-school educated Chinese girl, guitar-loving-disaffected-family-orientated-Malay-Boy, Super-Smart-Med-School-freshmen-Indian-Boy… It suddenly occurred to me that I do not actively remember any Chinese Boy characters on the English programs. But with exotic lookers like Keagan Kang and Utt –that VJ has something going on. When people can recognize who you are upon the mention of only your first name, like Elvis and Jesus and Hitler… you’ve got something coming on there).

But we end up stereotyping the people behind the blogs anyway. Teo Paik Choo effectively labels me as Smart Trash, can’t remember her exact words as written in the New Paper, but it went something along the lines of high intelligence coupled with low morality. I beg to differ. Without meaning to sound too egocentric, I believe I have do have a substantial amount of smarts (enough anyway to get on to a course that was highly sought after this year at NTU- it’s the way Singaporean people like to measure IQ, isn’t it) but I seriously doubt I have low morals. It’s completely irrelevant, likening embracing my sexuality with being morally deranged.

It’s just like saying obeying the Ten Commandments or any other religious directives can make you a ‘moral’ person. Bullshit. It makes you a religious social conformist, which is good in many ways, because it stops people from stealing stuff from grocery stores and arbitrarily murdering the owner; but that doesn’t make anyone honorable. Religious directives keep society in check, but do not have much in the way of making individual people better folks. Things like ‘Love your Enemies’ are the stuff that cultivates true morality. Not converting your neighbour’s wife is a necessary evil to keep the community in place and sane (as all that watch Desperate Housewives would know), but there’s nothing truly moral about that. You shouldn’t be taking things that aren’t yours in the first place. But a whole lot of good that does your own wife if you didn’t give a damn about her. In my opinion, better a cheating husband then an unloving one. Cheating husbands can still be loving; we all have our weaknesses.

Okay, so I’m a serial fornicator. I got bored at the bookstore today and the Princess said she’d be about Great World City. Élan lives around the corner, and I thought it would be fun to hit the sack while her Majesty minded her own business and then met her for dinner after that. Anyway, London got bombed, so he couldn’t leave work because of a soon to be London stock fluctuation (no idea, I’m not a ruthless blonde haired blue eyed money Machiavelli- But whatever it is, I certainly hope his mates are all-right. I'd say more. Only I don't know what to say. I'm still trapped in a bit of a stunned silence watching the news...)

I thought about it while reading C.S. Lewis’s Four Loves, and realized that the sort of sexual desire I normally have has nothing to do with what my body wants, but rather what I want. There’s a difference, and it lies in the fact that I could either fuck anybody at all, to satisfy my flesh, or that I wanted to make love to one particular individual, because I desired him. Not what he has, but him. The idea of him. And that is what desire is. It’s not some animal instinct, I highly doubt animals without an evolved consciousness have desires, so desire cannot be about sex and only sex.

The other day my mother asked me if I even liked the guys I slept with. Of course I liked them, I like them a lot for the people they are, and that’s the only reason for wanting to sleep with them. (Allright, occasionally I do it because they want to so much I cannot possibly refuse. Which is normally a really very stupid thing to do for your psychological health).

But when the person you want cannot (for reasons of work, another girl or just not being in the same country) want you all the time, and a long attention span hasn’t been one of Creation’s gifts to you… Then it just seems right that no one should force you to attempt to stay miserable in lack and want (for the Lord is my Shepard).

And blogs are one of those strange things that are all at once a very private thing (because it’s meant to chronicle how you feel) yet very public, because nearly anyone can access it. Unless your server is blocked by some of the higher powers that be. And these things play tricks on your mind, and sometimes I write like a freak staring back on my own life, reporting the feelings to an audience that expects and criticizes but also thankfully, sometimes encourages.

And we’re all turning into parodies of specific human characters, and turning other people into them to. Because in MTV’s The Real World, that’s how ‘real people’ behave. ‘Real people’ can be compartmentalized. Their morals can be easily judged. Their intelligence can be defined by the number of A’s they got out of Junior College. Their place in Heaven can be guessed by how well they obey some indoctrinated religiosity.

That’s how real people live.

And I AM trying to rationalize my behaviour, always, because it is better then not knowing why I do the things I do.

  1. Don't we wonder why people keep coming back if your blog content is really self-centered and immature, as they claim?

Asinine, irrational morons. We've all had our share of them. Perhaps more so for you.

  3. Blogs are not strange in today's context..in fact they are just the new millenium offering of the age old diary..but the only difference is that the latter guards it's content in great secrecy whereas the modern day blogs bothers on exhibitionism for the blogger and voyeurism for the readers of intimate thoughts..I wont resort to put a label to anyone of any ill-repute but humans; being of frail mentality does so inexplicably and unknowingly...it's the order of life in general..(an almost animal like fight for survival;of course not in today's modern world) instead we have morality...but it is not as simple as being a `moral'person or one having morality..it goes beyond just conforming to religious practises or principles, stealing from the grocery stores or coverting your neighbour's wife..and I beg to differ that loving thy enemies culitvates true morality..it's just too simplistic a view to adopt..who can truly say that they love their enemies..the guy whose neighbour cheated with his wife? the grocer who got shot by the burglar? the guy who got Aids from the streetwalker? I think not and if going by that stand then we are doom from the very start of mankind when eve gave adam his first apple..And for a person to cheat on his or her spouse, I do not think anybody with the right morality will accept such a faith of accepting anything less than complete devotion and trust..but of course, there are those in dire circumstances..either by faith or by chance..have no choices left. Desires are powerful emotions..and it is with this very emotions that women and men has attained great achievements and at the same time great losses..it is sad to say, a double-edged sword. Don't make the mistake for one's desire for one's pleasures..and blogs will be blogs at the end of the day..

Second I want to point out that people who can't or won't make the effort to spell properly or get their facts right, preferring to bluster nonsense and rhetoric, should just screw off.

  9. Haha shit this is so funny. People get the wrong idea, bytheway, im FOR SPG, Not Against.

Nowadays, many women who express their bodies/desires (sexually) in non-conventional ways are labelled as sluts/whores/immoral because our Patriarchal society sexually objectifies the bodies of women.

Even in modern times,Women= sex object (huge amts of sexist ads still exist); therefore,by merely putting up a nude pic u are reaffirming ur status as a sex object and therefore u certainly have low morals and bad upbringing and equally nonsensical shite.
(To SPG's defensive readers: im just relaying how narrowminded pple Against SPG view this issue.)

Society tends to punishes women who dare to express themselves sexually.Paris Hilton is called loose and easy just cos she is willing to flaunt and flirt and to take the lead sexually (with sex scandals/tapes surfacing as an unfortunate consequence)

So these Smart Ass people claim you are immoral, because supposed "Good" women are submissive, passive, smile coyly when a guy asks for their number and giggles when her bf touches her bum. "Good/Moral" women are not allowed to be sexually aggresive; they wait for their male partner to make the first move,it is only right to wait for him to desire her.

You go against this age-old stereotype, Good On You :).

Women who desire sex are percieved as bad and women who (*gasp) Act on these sexual desires are even more immoral! These women are unfairly labelled sluts.

For every woman who gains pleasure out of sexual activity (esp on a frequent basis with different partners) there will be a billion people perched on their ivory towers waiting to shake their heads and preach sermons of immorality.

Dont Fret their brains are only narrow and constrictive.

On Your Blog-Yep your private thoughts become publicised each time u blog but hey, ur actions and writing have made people think, created talking points, controversial as they may be; but u are smart (trash bcos pple r intimidated but hey smart trash sounds pretty cool haha), intelligent, express your thoughts well and definately know what you are doing.

People will always have their own opinions la, some of em unfairly shaped by our fcked up society restrictive cultural mindset yadda yadda.

Anyhow, The laws of Christianity dictate alot; but what matters most is You and God; not a whole bunch of man-made crap.(and certainly not what other people say) ;)

  13. Tinky and Anonymous: Aiyah, Cool it, like u two,i'm totally FOR SPG...

im just saying how screwed up society is for being so narrow-minded, and sexist-even in modern times. (SPG so freely expresses herself and people (note:)UNFAIRLY call her a sl*t for their old-fashioned rubbish reasons)

Women are not entirely liberated as yet, because of this unfair double standard. SPG just happens to bear the brunt of it, with people UNFAIRLY calling her names- immoral/trash etc.

I was also being sarcastic on that "Good Women" bit. You'l be surprised, but even in this day and age alot of pple still think like that.

Tinky:Dont attack me on my spelling la can...i dont speaketh Queen's English. ;)

    Peace Out. SPG Rocks.

I'll help your cock stand by shoving my broom up your ass, you want? And if you really want your cock to stand, go to a porn site and jerk yourself off. Blogs aint build for your cock to stand, a porn site, however, is suppose to do that.

  16. ok I've been a silent observer and a silent admirer of your blog and writtings, of coz your photos too... I've to say some of the things these peeps are saying is really senseless and pointless... they're just out to provoke a reaction from ya and do not understand your writings.

U might ask "Do I understand?" well... as a 27 yr old local guy, with a heart as young as you but a mind as mature as the next hot blooded male who's kok can stand as long as a naked female stands infront of me > OF COZ I UNDERSTAND YA!

Seriously I'm a no body compared to Xiaxue (which I'm also a fan of) or even to Sandralicious (whose writings are so innocent and sweet) and definitely I'm zilch compared to you! But I'm a total rebel that looks worse then a nerdy Mr Bean, oh did I mention the stuff I writes might not make sense at times too.

Anyway u've my support and pls I'm sure u can ignore the comments of those insensitive, brainless, immature and most of the time really sad pple here in blogging world!

    Have a good day!

  20. Greetings from a Singapore Atheist

While I do not generally get involved with sensational blogs such as yours, I am quite enthralled by some of your entries.

As a blogger myself, I feel that blogs do have a way of carrying messages across, it breaks down the divide between nations, continents and so on.

With regards to negative views from your detractors and the Singapore media, ignore them. Singapore journalists have utterly no professional ethnics, yet they will lampoon others who merely do not conform to certain conservative values. I have utterly no respect for the Singapore media.

Pardon me for the long entry. If you so wish to, do pay me a visit at www.cyclops686.blogspot.com. In addition to my blog, I am also the founder of AtheistHaven.

That is about all. Wherever you are, enjoy your life, and live it to the fullest.

  21. I have to say that I started a blog for the sake of writing and speak my mind. The fact that some people including even Izzy now read it is as welcome as unexpected. I don't know exactly why people resort to blogs. Probably it's their innate instinct to voyeurism, even when the blog is not about sex I mean.
But this girl's blog has created a burst of attention from all around her island, and I think she should be proud of being able to shake Singapore's most conformist individuals off their lowlife. My friends over there warned me that Singapore isn't exactly the most openminded haven for freethinkers, but the fact that this girl, like my friends, was born there renews my hope for the island.
    Anyway, keep blogging Izzy.

  22. PseudoFaire: being the frank "i-am-who-i-am" person you profess to be, i'd like to hear you encourage your daughter in future to actively lead spg's lifestyle i.e. get paid for sex, have casual sex with people just because they begged her to etc.

if you hesitate to do so, let's not have your double standards here. now that would be hypocrisy.

    ReplyDelete
  23. As much as i do not agree to some of your views and your lifestyle, i have no right to disrespect them. If the blokes can screw around and be respected, why not the babes right? In your attempt to emancipate women from society's code of sexual conduct (in a less than active manner that is), i suggest you should drop your label as an SPG because the term is already degrading by itself don't you think? sporeans read those 3 words and immediate negative responses come to mind.It is almost a like calling yourself a 'a gold-digging whore'...a milder degree perhaps. But if you think that title suits you well...by all means.Afterall...it has earned you the spotlight. No pun intended.

  24. Papa Shango: I'm ok with homosexuality; but i choose not to be a homosexual. (i.e being straight but having gay friends vs. a homophobic) Must i(or my daughter for that matter) become a homosexual just because im not against it? Wah is the standard not blatantly double!

  25. pseudof: using your example, then can you say you will be honestly 100% happy if your only child was homosexual?

Don't worry about those idiots who write negative things about you. They are what makes Singapore truly ugly.

  27. Wahh... can see the big controversy abt you. Well, i'm not gg to add oil to fire.
However, i only like to comment that i like the pics of yours. Though u have show yourself naked. i find that pic to be classy. I consider that as a piece of art, rather than porn.

The ways that the pics are taken or handle are not sluty. Or does it looks bitchy. The "come and cum me" factor isn't there. The dark background gives people a sense of mysterious. And u really noes how to show the contour of a human body. Classic! Beautiful! Human art.

But the comment speaks for the pic only, and not the stuff you wrote in ur blog.
Like I say, i'm not gg to add oil to fire.

  28. Hi there

I recently discovered ur blog (yes, abit slow), and to be honest, I really dun see why ppl r making a big she-ought-not-be-doin-this hoohaa bout it.

And again, to be frank, ur entries, though most of them seem 'controversial' to the mainstream peeps, are substantially backed-up by truth and facts.

And fuck yes, it's so goddamn true: Devout, religious people are, no doubt, a great existence to societies for they do, like SPG said, abide by rules n thus creating a safe social environment blahblahbla. But ive met dicks n pussies whose rude, chauvinistic attitudes sickens ppl arnd them, tho they go church/temple often, or pray 5 times daily.

Lastly, to those who think tt this blog is porn, my late greatgrandad will be laughin at ya. For fuck's sake, if u want this SPG to ride on top of ya, tell her straight. (Tho i think she might not want to even think abt it). Grab some VCDs and jerk some stains on ur bedroom wall.

  29. All i can say is that some, and i repeat some, of your haters truly have come out of a random hole stemming from the heart of the earth which houses nothing but fire and stupidity.

    thanks.

  30. Honestly, a blog is considered something personal. Sarong party Girl doesnt earn a living by writing a blog. Its just a place for her to express herself. Just treat it as a pleasure reading. If you take offenses in what she wrote, then simply dont be back to read or update on her blog entries anymore. If you dont agree on what she wrote, just keep the arguement to yourself. There is neither right nor wrong and there is no need to judge her on what she writes or what she does in her life. Every individual is different and unique in their own way. Its her life. She has every right to lead it the way she wants it to be. It not up to me or you to interefere.

So please, come on, get a life! Let Sarong Party Girl has some peace and continues writing. You may not enjoy reading it but there are many others who does. She cant pleases everyone and she definitely doesnt write just to please people.

Sarong Party Girl, though I am new to your blog but I had read through most of your entries. I find them well-written and its indeed an insight for me to understand more about SPGs. Keep on writing despite all the crude remarks. =)

not CONVERTING?? haha because i know you generally write very well i'll put this down to a freak mistake. which is kinda funny when you think abt what it now means :P

and some of your comments are sounding very much like xiaxue's readers :(

  37. A journal kept under your bed is private. A blog with no friends-lock is public. So to the person who suggested we have no right to judge and that we should all keep our criticism to ourselves...sorry, since the blog is public, we do have that right to critique and judge, even if all SPG wants in her comments box is sycophantic ego-stroking (which I doubt she does.)

And while there may be no right or wrong, let's just say some things are more right than others. And even if we can't agree on what those things are, at least we can have an intelligent debate over it.

On another note: SPG, the funny thing about rationalizing our own behavior is that frequently all we're doing is trying to justify it after the fact. It makes us feel better if we can argue ourselves into believing that our motives are all moral and creditable. In your case, you're trying to make your behavior as moral the next Christ-worshipping Singaporean's by debasing their code of absolute morality. No, these people aren't truly more moral, more "honourable", you say -they're merely being "social conformists" (a nicely pejorative term.)

Tell me - there's nothing honorable in following the Ten Commandments? There is nothing honorable in refraining from killing others, from stealing, from adultery? These acts all harm others, and you're telling me that there is no /honour/, nor morality, in showing restraint and forbearance and, yes, even "love for thy enemies" by not committing them?

Another note: You seem so forgiving of weaknesses, especially those committed in the name of sex. But have you ever asked a wife who has being cheated upon whether the fact that her husband was loving or not made it any less of a betrayal, any less of a sin against the sanctity of marriage?

I would argue that that a loving but cheating husband is just as, if not more dishonourable than an unloving but faithful one. At least the latter is being honest in what he is, whereas the former is duplicitous. Either duplicitous, or fundamentally weak. Because if he /truly/ loved his wife, he might have shown more restraint. And yes, I think there is honour in restraint.

Are you merely in favour of the loving cheat because it makes your conscience more comfortable that way? "No,I'm not being immoral," I can just hear you justify being in a long-term relationship while still keeping multiple partners. "After all, I love my bf! That makes everything all right, doesn't it?"

Look, I'm not against polygamy, I'm not condemning your actions as immoral. But your lifestyle does make me a little skeptical about the potential bias in your arguments.

  39. To all, a thought: Perhaps you are using the wrong language when you describe SPG as "Amoral". I suggest, 'differently moral'. After all, she has a moral code she follows...it just doesn't happen to be yours!

Also, despite her critique of local length, her insights, both high brow and low, are a breath of fresh air in a country with so little true opinion. I suggest that if you feel compelled to read the writing of someone you so detest, that you try focusing on her philosophical areas, and steer clear of the hot-and-heavy stuff.

Finally, as someone who has lived in the States for many years, permit me this observation: her blog is neither disgraceful nor edgy when compared to the stuff you can find almost anywhere else. Rather than "disgracing" or "shaming" Singapore, she may well be putting this little island on the map - and to anticipate your next rant, no, not just for pedophile and perverts. People in other countries don't really obsess quite as much as Singaporeans on their self-professed morality.

  50. Hi SPG, sorry i dont know your name, but i would like to say a few things on your behalf if you so allow this to be posted.

Firstly, although i dont agree on every issue with SPG, i respect her decisions as to what she wants to do with her blog, let alone her life.

    2) I do not belief that people should mind their own business because we live in this world interacting with one another. It is inevitable. Although we allow ourselves to poke into another person's life - in the case SPG's blog, we have the choice to agree to disagree. Thus, throwing being unconstructively critical (mocking) doesnt produce any outcome but anger and strife. For the people who mock her and judge her like you're some God appointed guardian of morality, did God appoint you? Are you not the same? Do you not have your own skeleton closets? If you are not going to be responsible for SPG, who gave you the right to mock her? Might as well bugger off and shut up right?

    3) I am highly displeased with people who leave insulting and unwarranted comments without revealing their identity. If you have to balls to throw stones at people, at least have what it takes to let people know who you are. Dont hide behind the cloak of a pharasee. You are just balless in other words. Thus to set forth and example. i have revealed my name. In case there are people who are too dumb or blind, its S.C, Lau.

    4) Like what TINKY said earlier in her/his comment, if SPG's blog is so self centered, why do people keep coming back? Obviously, people have nothing better to do but to cultivate a cowardice habit called "the hit and run".

5)I also came across another dork headed pig who is not happy that his comments have been deleted. My question to you Mr.Dork is; What is your problem? Its not your blog, its someone elses blog. You cant differentiate between yours and others is that it? Totally unwarranted. Appearantly, your mother has yet to teach you the differentiate what belongs to you and others. As if she hit you back with a comment and deleted yours to spite you, but no SPG didnt. You invaded SPG's life, and she has the right to delete your comment as she chooses to. Why? because its her blog you dumb ass!

    6) Lastly, SPG's writting is so much more flow and maturity than 90 over percent of the students in NUS, NTU or even SMU. With all due respect, please hold your stones and really ask yourself if you can pitch something better than her everyday ramblings. I doubt so. Anyway, i'm challenging the percentage of those who can and cant blog as well as SPG, thus its not a personal attack on local students and intellectuals.

    I've said enough.

    Regards

  52. To the person above - agreeing to disagree is, I think, one of least conducive approaches to debate, ever. Better imo to challenge arguments that we find wanting, and in the process either prove them more valid or less so, than to be wishy-washy and needlessly pc by simply "agreeing to disagree".

And to all the rest of the "shut up or bugger off" contigent - SPG is smart enough and outspoken enough to fend for herself. I doubt she needs all you cyber-samurai and knights templars to defend her honour and her blog.

I read her blog because I find it interesting, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with everything she writes. And when I don't, and I speak up about it, it doesn't mean I'm some embittered ED-stricken conservative Singaprean out to exact a pitiful revenge by vandalising her comments section. (I am, in fact, female, around SPG's age, an agnostic, a liberal, and currently living in the West.)I can at least speak for myself when I say that I try to be as coherent and constructive as possible when I criticize. Anyway, it's her argument I'm critical of, not her person.

For example, what SPG wrote in this post I found clearly filtered through her own interests and values, and therefore is biased. She is not religious, so she discredits the morality of those who follow /do/ follow religious directives and dogma by uniformly calling them brainless, indoctrinated conformists. In the next breath, however, she complains of stereotyping and simplistically compartmentalizing people (herself, namely. She obviously doesn't like the "Smart Trash" moniker.) Doesn't SPG see that she's done exactly the same thing to those who choose to follow Christ's teachings? Disregarded their complexity as individuals? Reduced them to a stereotype? And a not very positive one at that?

This from the girl who has always declared that people don't have the right to judge her, and demanded that they be open-minded about her lifestyle. But apparently it's not "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" when it comes to religious conservatives.

I know from personal experience that not all those who believe in the Ten Commandments are conformist lemmings. And I know that some of the best and brightest followed religious doctrines because they choose to, because they found something honourable, even moral there. Tolstoy, for example - genius writer, right? Vanguard and radical, right? Spent the last 30 years of his life preaching and practising Christianity. So who is SPG to discredit Christian conservatives and the worth and morality of Christian beliefs just because she doesn't believe in them nor practise them?

I shan't be the first nor the last to call SPG smart, but sometimes there is something in what she writes that I find either contradictory or even bordering on the hypocritical, which makes reading her otherwise well-written posts less pleasurable for me.

Okay, I'm done. Sorry for the verbal diahhrea, SPG.

  53. can we JUST LEAVE HER ALONE?? like seriously. it's her thoughts, her say. honestly i am no friend of SPG but it makes me sick hearing people, who don even KNOW her, talk abt her like they've known her all her life and honestly, singaporeans are just damn hypocrites who only know how to criticise others yet failing to look at their own flaws. really. and please...i do wonder why we make SPG's tagboard into a discussion place and wax eloquence when we don't even know her. perhaps it's time we just take a step back, go on with our lives without trying to be those know-all aunties who actually dun know anything.

  55. To my Respondant.

"To the person above - agreeing to disagree is, I think, one of least conducive approaches to debate, ever. Better imo to challenge arguments that we find wanting, and in the process either prove them more valid or less so, than to be wishy-washy and needlessly pc by simply "agreeing to disagree"."

First things first. “agreeing to disagree” <- meant that people should be prepared to their differences and not be bent of imposing another’s point of view so intrusively. “wishy washy”? I don’t think so, I make clear statements. Moreover, when I said agree to disagree, I didn’t say that people aren’t suppose to voice out their own opinion. What I am actually suggesting in some decent form of respect, rather than being rude. That’s all.

"And to all the rest of the "shut up or bugger off" contigent - SPG is smart enough and outspoken enough to fend for herself. I doubt she needs all you cyber-samurai and knights templars to defend her honour and her blog."

Yet, you are defending her also by making such statements right? You are contradicting yourself are you not? ßmaking your statements “invalid” as what you have said aren’t you? Ha.

”For example, what SPG wrote in this post I found clearly filtered through her own interests and values, and therefore is biased. She is not religious, so she discredits the morality of those who follow /do/ follow religious directives and dogma by uniformly calling them brainless, indoctrinated conformists. And a not very positive one at that?”

She did not disregard their teachings. You forget a statement that she decently regards, in fact I think, exalting, “love your neighbor as yourself”. This is the sole summary of the entire law, which you have yet to learn. Very very basic. Apparently I don’t think you qualify to talk about the bible in terms understanding the Ten Commandments. Yes, she has to right to criticized the hypocrites in Christiandom, Why not? She narrows down to the group (big or small) that behaves in that way, and not the whole of Christianity. You obviously have misread.

”This from the girl who has always declared that people don't have the right to judge her, and demanded that they be open-minded about her lifestyle. But apparently it's not "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" when it comes to religious conservatives.”

The same goes for you, do unto you what you do unto others right? Reflect on what you have written. Too much to comment.

”I know from personal experience that not all those who believe in the Ten Commandments are conformist lemmings. And I know that some of the best and brightest followed religious doctrines because they choose to, because they found something honourable, even moral there. SPG -It’s just like saying obeying the Ten Commandments or any other religious directives can make you a ‘moral’ person.
To my respondent – I think you ought to read this through again. Obviously she understands human beings better than you, judging from what you have written. I’m guessing that she has not read or understood the book of Romans, but even as a fornicator (what she calls herself) she understands a good portion of what is written there without even reading it. “The Law condemns, the law judges, it is not the way to redemption but only in Christ Jesus, his finish word will we find redemption. ß Romans chapter 1 – 10. You have got lots of reading up to do before you post anything up again.

By the way, I am fully Christian and mostly regarded as conservative. I rest my case here.

  57. Thanks :)

I'm still figuring things out for myself. I never dare to imagine I am completely right in anything. It's the best way to stop learning.

I can distingish however (even if it's only at some rudimentary teenage-human level) hurtful behaviour from ones that aren't.

I can't get to your site btw...
